Lombard Baseball Builds on a 50-year fundraising tradition

Support For League-Wide Needs
For Lombard Baseball League, World’s Finest Chocolate has been a trusted fundraising tradition for more than 50 years. Led by Dan Bragaw, 2nd VP for Fundraising, the league uses the program to help cover general funding needs like baseballs, umpires, uniforms, and other essentials.
A Flexible Model For Families
Lombard Baseball League gives families two ways to support the organization: sell World’s Finest Chocolate or pay a buyout fee. About one-third of families choose to sell chocolate, while others opt to contribute through the fee.
This flexible approach works well for the league, generating approximately $10,000 from chocolate sales and an additional $30,000 revenue through buyouts to support the full program.
It’s a great way to raise money for your organization.”
Fundraising That Builds Character
For the families who choose to sell, the experience is about more than raising money. Dan believes in getting kids out into the community, knocking on doors, and learning how to talk with people as a character-building experience.
Simple To Run
World’s Finest Chocolate continues to be a strong fit because it is simple to manage and familiar to the community. After more than five decades, Lombard Baseball League continues to count on World’s Finest Chocolate as a reliable way to fund what its players need.
