Smith Elementary used its first World’s Finest® Chocolate fundraiser to help pay for a first grade fieldtrip. With 62 participants, the school sold 100 boxes and raised $4,000, showing what one grade level can accomplish.

Funding a Trip Students Might Not Otherwise Have
At a low-income school where other grade levels had not gone on trips, the first grade lead teacher took initiative to give students a way to help fund their own experience. World’s Finest® Chocolate offered a simple, accessible product that helped make the trip possible.

The fundraiser’s results created excitement beyond firstgrade. After seeing what the students accomplished, the school booked aschool-wide fundraiser for the Fall.
