Deer Creek Choir Raises More Than $50,000 Year After Year
A Trusted Fundraiser That Helps Students Perform on Bigger Stages
For Tiffany McGrew, Choir Director at Deer Creek, World’s Finest® Chocolate has been a reliable fundraising partner for 15 years across her teaching career. At Deer Creek, the annual fall sale supports 7th–12th grade choir students, helping fund music, training, and unforgettable performance experiences.
Funding Music, Training, and Travel
Each year, funds first go into the choir account to support program needs. Anything raised beyond that helps students build individual activity accounts, giving them a direct incentive to participate and reach their goals.
Over the past few years, the fundraiser has helped Deer Creek purchase new music, bring in clinicians for advanced training, and fund a once-in-a-lifetime trip to New York. Students performed in concert, saw Broadway shows, and had a chance to train alongside Broadway professionals while exploring the city.
A Name People Know
For Tiffany, brand recognition makes all the difference. After trying another chocolate fundraiser for one year and seeing weaker results, Deer Creek returned to World’s Finest® Chocolate.

Students Finding Their Voice
The fundraiser also helps students build confidence. Some created TikTok videos, showed the flavors, explained what they were raising money for, and invited supporters to buy a whole box.
