Frequently Asked Questions
For more than 75 years, groups have trusted us to raise money quickly and easily by selling delicious chocolate. These FAQs cover common questions about how our fundraisers work and what you need to know to get started.

Can I place an order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?
Yes, you can place an order anytime on our shop page which accepts orders up to 100 cases, or profit goals $3,200 or less. For larger goals, visit our get started page and a member of our fundraising team will be in touch.
How will I know when my order has shipped?
Once your order ships, tracking information can be found in your Order History when logged into your account online. You will also receive an email. To access your account login here.
Do I need a rep to run a fundraiser?
Smaller goals under $3,200 have the option of placing an online order without a rep. For larger goals, we do require a rep and that’s a good thing because they make planning, selling, and closing your fundraiser easier. To get in touch with a rep, complete our get started form.
Do we need to prepay?
If you're ordering from our website, you'll need upfront payment. For other orders, some groups qualify for credit where you’ll only receive an invoice after your fundraiser wraps and only pay for what you keep. Check with your rep on if you qualify.
How much chocolate do I need to order?
Use our digital profit calculator to determine what size order may be right for you based on your group size and goals.
How do I run a chocolate fundraiser?
Running a World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser is simple. You can get started by placing an online order or by contacting a fundraising representative who can help you build the right plan for your group.
Once you’re started, we’ll guide you through best practices and provide success tools like parent letters and social media posts. The support may come by email or directly from your World’s Finest Chocolate rep.
How much profit can we make?
We offer two simple profit tiers – 40% on smaller fundraising goals and 50% on larger goals. Each box of chocolate has a value of $80. If you’re ordering less than 200 cases, you keep 40% which is $32 per box. If you’re ordering more than 200 cases, you keep 50% which is $40 per box.
Why do I have to pay sales tax on items and on shipping?

What are shipping charges?
Shipping charges vary depending on how you order and your order size.
How do you ship the chocolate in warmer months?
Orders shipped during warmer months are packed with dry ice to maintain the integrity of our chocolate products while in transit. Shipments may be delayed in cases of extreme heat. It's also important that you can immediately store the delivery in a cool setting once it arrives.
How fast will our order arrive?
Most orders ship within 5–7 business days. Large-volume orders may take longer. You will receive a shipment notification via email.
Do we need to be there to sign for delivery?
It’s recommended. Chocolate is temperature-sensitive, so you’ll want someone there to inspect and store it properly.
How should we store chocolate before distributing it?
Keep it in a cool, dry place, away from heat, moisture, and strong odors. Do not refrigerate.
What if something arrives damaged or missing?
Contact your rep or call Customer Service at (888) 821-8452 within 48 hours of delivery.
What if I have special shipping requirements?
Contact your rep, or customer service, as they can help arrange specific shipping needs.
Why can't I ship to a P.O. Box?
P.O. Boxes are located in a post office and they won’t accept deliveries directly from most carriers.

What is the expected shelf life of a product?
Chocolate should be kept in a cool, dry place preferably below 72°F, but not in the refrigerator. The bars will last up to 12 months from its manufacturing date. If there is a “Best Thru” date listed on the product, please use this date.
What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns unless it is a product quality issue. For all carrier reported undeliverable addresses, a credit will automatically be applied to your account, less shipping charges. For additional information, please call our Customer Service Department at:1-888-821-8452.
What if the chocolate doesn't sell?
While this rarely happens, based on your credit terms and order size, you may be eligible to return unopened, undamaged boxes within 60 days of delivery. Product must be in resellable condition. If the quantity lowers your order total and affects your discount pricing tier, a price tier adjustment will apply. Orders cannot be combined to avoid this price adjustment. A return fee also applies. To discuss elibility, contact your rep.
We do not accept returns of online orders.
When do we pay for the products afterward?
If you are eligible for credit terms, you'll be invoiced for the order in its entirety after your fundraiser. Payment is typically due within 30 days for approved accounts; otherwise, payment is due at the time of purchase.
Who collects money from sellers?
Each group handles their own collections. We recommend appointing a campaign lead to oversee this. Our digital app makes tracking payments fast and easy with cashless options. The app is free to access.
When will my credit card be charged for the initial shipping?
The credit card is charged after your order enters the shipping process.
Whom do I talk to about returns or exchanges?

Do you offer products that are free from nuts and gluten?
World’s Finest Chocolate is peanut free. We recognize that food allergies are a serious concern – especially among children. It is important that we offer a variety of product options that are free of the most common allergens.
What are your efforts to ensure that products labeled free of a particular allergen do not contain trace amounts of that specified allergen?
We monitor all product ingredients and adhere to strict product labeling standards. We stand by 100% accuracy in our product labeling. Each product is identified and listed in compliance with the current food labeling requirements. We sample and test ingredients from our suppliers on a regular basis to ensure reliability and consistency.
How can we be a peanut-free facility, don't we produce items with nuts?
Peanuts are not the same as tree nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc.), which grow on trees. There is no proven correlation between peanut allergens and other nut allergens.
How will we benefit from using a peanut-free facility?
Due to health concerns and the risk of allergic reactions in children, many schools have become peanut-free zones. Becoming a peanut-free facility and labeling our products as such enables more options and opportunities for our customers.
How can we get in touch for more allergen and nutritional information?
WFC employs an entire staff of food scientists to ensure that our nutritional and allergy information remains at the highest standards. However, if you have any additional questions or concerns regarding our products, please do not hesitate to get in contact with us.
Do your products contain allergens?
Some items do contain allergens. For a complete list of ingredients, check out our product fact pages: $2 Product Facts, $5 Product Facts.
What does peanut-free mean?
We are currently a peanut-free facility, we do not produce items that contain peanuts, and we do not allow peanuts or peanut by-products to be brought into the facilities. We take the necessary precautions to ensure that we remain a peanut-free facility.
